Nobody Supports Me =/

When you start a new venture, you might be surprised at the lack of support you’re getting. It’s not uncommon to feel like your friends and family are ignoring your business & skipping the like button on your Social Media posts. It can naturally bring feelings of anger and disappointment. You may even find that strangers show more love than people you know.

Regardless of who supports or doesn’t, you can never expect people to be as enthusiastic about your dreams as you are. They’re your goals, not theirs. You shouldn’t need people to clap for you & pat you on the back. Expecting a parade of support just leads to disappointment. It’s always hard in the beginning when you’re unknown and unproven.

Cherish everyone who supports you, but be prepared to walk alone. Over time, you’ll gain supporters, but you might also lose them. You can only count on yourself to see your vision to the end. So when you hear that voice in your head starting to chant “No One Supports Me,” just tell it to be quiet. You have all the tools required to make your dreams come true, and once the world sees you putting a serious effort towards your plans.

It will extend its hands.
